Backpacking on the brain Written by Lindsey on August 26th, 2010

In case you haven’t been following, I’ve been wanting to go backpacking on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) for years. This summer, it actually made the calandar, my hiking buddy didn’t bail on me, we are one day out from go time, and everything is falling into place. The plan is for a 3 day, 2 night out-and-back trek into the Jefferson Wilderness Area in Oregon.

Needless to say, I’ve got backpacking on the brain.

I’ve done my trail research . . .

I’m ready to go . . .

And I am so excited!

Who wouldn’t be looking forward to long days on the trail when they have a Mountian Hardwear Phantom 15 to cozy into each night – stays comfortable whether it hot or cold outside. And could I jump like this if it wasn’t light as a feather? Probably! But still, it’s as light as goose down!

Next update . . . backpack weigh-in.
